How Her Business Started: "About 12 years ago, a friend asked me if I could paint her house and it grew from there by word-of-mouth and also real estate agents who gift my work to their clients. My busiest season is Christmas because I can also make small house paintings as an ornament -- it's a nice gift!"
Art Education: "I earned my teaching degree as an art educator at Kent State University. I taught for ten years in the Fairview Park School system in Ohio and earned my masters at Cleveland State University."
Local Teaching: Children's art classes at DuPage Art League, 218 W. Front Street, Wheaton, IL
Artist Statement: "I love watercolor --- how it goes onto the paper and also mixing colors on the paper. I especially enjoy teaching children -- love their energy and how they're not afraid to jump into a project. Remembering to have fun with art is important for artists of all ages."
