If you're not yet familiar with this online gallery, they offer a chance to give your artwork a broader audience and increased exposure with their many juried competitions. Some are free to enter, while others require a nominal entrance fee. Current open competitions for entry are "Patterns and Texture" -- deadline 1/12/2020 and "Artist Choice IV" open to all subject matter with a deadline of February 9, 2020. ELMHURST COLLEGE DISPLAYS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS' ARTWORK

From January 11-26, Elmhurst College celebrates young artsts and public school art programs from across the Chicago area when it hosts the 21st Annual High School Exhibitions. Exhibit can be found in the Founders Lounge in the Frick Center (190 Prospect Avenue in Elmhurst) and includes paintings, prints, sculptures, videos, computer art and other media. Awards and a $2,000 renewable scholarship will be presented to students from each participating high school.
