Batavia High School student, Rachel Agro's design was selected as the winner!
More than 100 submissions were entered into this community-wide contest making the choice difficult. However, Rachel explained that her design was meant to represent Batavia's historical connection to industry along with its riverside geography.
The Batavia Chamber has received its first order of flags from Batavia flag manufacturer, FlagSource. Flags are available in varying sizes: a 3-ft by 5-ft is $50; and a garden-size flag complete with stake is $35.

Flags are only available for in-person pickup. Twenty-five percent of net profits from these sales will be donated to the Flag Day Monument that is being built in downtown Batavia.
